In a dispute? Consider mediation.

Mediation is negotiating with the help of a neutral person.

Over the last twenty-five years, courts and business have increasingly begun to see the value of mediation. In fact, some courts require almost every case that is filed to go to mediation or some other form of Alternative Dispute Resolution. They recognize that the formal legal process is not always the best method of resolving disputes. Businesses are putting mediation into contracts and adopting the mediation process internally to resolve employee disputes, reducing turnover and exposure to litigation.  Experienced attorneys, sometimes refer cases to mediation even when it is not required, recognizing that mediation can often be a better alternative to a civil jury trial, reducing risk and expense.

We offer mediation to parties in civil cases pending in Western and Central Pennsylvania. Andrew Kennedy is an attorney with more than twenty years of experience in civil litigation, mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has an AV-Preeminent peer review rating, is Harvard-trained in negotiation, is a member of the member of the mediation panel of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and is a Member of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators.
